Processia Solutions Selects Actify's SpinFire for VPMViz:

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 29, 2003-- Processia Solutions, a leader in providing PLM services for ENOVIA, SMARTEAM and CATIA suite of products from Dassault Systemes, announces that it has selected technology from Actify to act as the 2D/3D CAD embedded viewer of VPMViz, the 3D portal to ENOVIA VPM data. Unlike other applications, which offer you a large amount of unused functions, VPMViz is a simple, straight to the point solution, to query your ENOVIA VPM database, sample parts and models information and view 3D and 2D CATIA models.
"After a thorough evaluation of various 2D/3D CAD viewing solutions, we have chosen to integrate Actify in our .NET application because of its simplicity and flexibility," said Philippe Hammond, director of R&D at Processia Solutions.
In order to commercialize VPMViz and with visualization technology from Actify, both companies have signed a distribution agreement that will give Processia Solutions the right to sell Actify products and to integrate Actify technology in its software products.
"This partnership is part of our ongoing effort to develop strong relationships with software developers like Processia Solutions and bring 2D/3D CAD design visualization solutions to the PLM market," said Randy Ochs, president and CEO of Actify. In the next years, Processia will continue to support VPMViz and develop additional software products around the Actify products.
